About the instructor:

Tamer Mahmoud is the Executive Director of TRAIN and a UN expert in international trade issues; he has headed both the Committee of Arabic Customs Union and the Arabic Rules of Origin Committee at the Arab League. Tamer’s portfolio of work in the trade sector includes his participation in the Tripartite Trade Negotiation Form (TTNF) between COMESA, Sadec and EEC, where he also headed the Egyptian negotiation delegation in rules of origin committee of (TTNF).

Before co-founding TRAIN, Tamer was working as the Head of the Technical Office of the Head of the Free Trade Agreements and Foreign Trade sector where he developed extensive expertise in intragovernmental and intergovernmental communications.
